Michigan is making strides to end breast cancer! Whether you're a survivor, or a loved one has been diagnosed, most people have been impacted by breast cancer in some way.
When you walk in the American Cancer Society Event, every step gets us closer to a world without breast cancer. Come celebrate survivors - remember loved ones lost - and make sure no one facing breast cancer walks alone.
The American Cancer Society's annual Making Strides walks take place every October.
FOX 2 will be live all morning at the Detroit Walk:
- Saturday October 21
- Hart Plaza in Detroit
- Registration 8am
- Walk 9am (Rolling start 9 - 1030am)
If you don't want to walk, but still want to take part in the cause, consider becoming a volunteer to help with check-in, water stations, information, and much more.
Let's put on some pink and honor breast cancer survivors, raise breast cancer awareness, and support breast cancer fundraising. It's an event full of passion, power and purpose.
