Paulina Jayne brings Detroit style to country music

(WJBK) - Paulina Jayne is a hometown girl that's made it big in Nashville. Her musical style has been curated by a melting pot of influences coming together under one genre she calls urban country.

She joined us on The Nine to tell us more about her music and give us a sample of her sound. You can hear from her in the video player above.

She'll be performing at the Greek Festival in St. Clair Shores August 18-19, and then again at Arts, Beats and Eats Labor Day weekend in Royal Oak.
