MOUNT CLEMENS, Mich. (WJBK) - Wondering where all the pumpkins went in Macomb County? You can find them outside a home in Mount Clemens.
Attorney James Galen Jr. decided to challenge himself this year by carving 150 pumpkins in 24 hours and placing them along his front porch and sidewalk.
He's been doing jack-o-lanterns by the dozen for about 15 years, but this is the first time he's carved so many.
Galen says he got a great response from trick-or-treaters on Halloween.
"The kids loved it; the adults loved it. I got a lot of compliments, which means a lot because we put a lot of work into it. It makes me happy because very year a couple kids just won't come up without some crying, kicking and screaming and parents holding their hands. We're not trying to scare them, but everyone likes a good scare on Halloween," he says.
In additon to the pumpkins, Galen also used 450 candles in all those jack-o-lanterns.
